Tablature discussion is a forum for anyone who needs help finding a specific tab. Also, if you make up tabs on your own and you want constructive criticism or feed back on your work then this is the place to post it. There are always tabs that you have trouble finding on the internet so don't hesitate to ask questions here. Chances are that another member will know the tab and would be more than happy to give it to you.


Also, here are some good sites to go to if you don't know where to start when searching for tabs: Guitartabs.cc, Ultimate-guitar.com, Guitartabs.net, and 911tabs.com. You can go to google and type in Guitar tab sites if you want to do any further research on good tablature sites. If you find one that you really like, tell it to your friends and the other members here at GuitarTools.co.uk

Curious question to the mods and admin, in the future, will this site have tabs eventually? I think that would be a great add-on to the site, but with the MPA being totally awesome as of recent, Im not sure how well tabs would fly.

we're currently keeping tabs off this site as we don't want to have this site shut down completely

Im pretty sure it wouldnt be illegal to have a "Tablature Section" in this forum, being that it is out of the UK. Thats why www.Ultimate-Guitar is still up and running, they are a European based webpage and the same Tablature laws dont apply that region.

If that's true TUIBlue, I'd love to start a tablature section of the website (rather than forum based), I think it's do-able and would be very good! I could include GuitarPro and/or Power Tab downloads if they too are allowed...

I'm not sure if artists have to be paid some kind of royalty though?

That's right. TUIBlue is right. That's why Ultimate-Guitar is still around.

As for the royalties, I don't think so. Otherwise the many tab sites that are around probably would not be around, considering the amount of royalties they'd have to pay. Most artists don't seem to care, and seem flattered a bit by the idea. Its Big Business causing the trouble again.

Anyway, when you decide to do this up, let me know, I've got a few tabs lying around on my computer.
