Korg MA-30 Metronome ReviewThe Korg MA-30 is very compact and full of features. Powered by two AAA batteries, it seems that Korg have thought of everything. The tempo range goes from 40 to 208, and can be moved up of down in single digits, in steps of 20, or rapidly by pressing two buttons at once.

The time signature, or beat, range goes from 0 to 7, while the subdivisions of the beat include the following: duplets, triplets, triplets with the middle beat omitted, quadruplets and quadruplets with the middle beats omitted.

You can use the tap facility to find the tempo of any song that you are learning. Plus it has a fully chromatic reference tuner that can be calibrated from 413-420Hz or 438-445Hz.

The Korg MA-30 does many of the same things that a metronome two or three times its price would do.

Priced around £15

4.5 out of 5
