Gorilla PGT20 Amplifier ReviewAround £60.

Features:

This amp uses its trademark Tube Stack distortion, a 6.5"speaker, and has a single EQ knob, master volume and that all-important headphone socket.

Construction:

A robust tiny unit (10 x 6 x 12"), deceptive size as it packs a real punch. The back panel is open, so you can put your lead in there (just mind the speaker).

Sound:

Gorilla's clean channel stay crystal clean up to the 3/4 mark, whereas you can achieve a crunchy bluesy overdrive by using the Tube Stack distortion. We don't recommend pushing it too hard thought, as this isn't a beast built for metal.

Noise Pollution Level:

Crank it up and it's a noisy devil, not loud enough to gig with, but more than enough ooomph for you home playing.

Verdict:

If space is a premium and you want a loud inexpensive amp, then this could be the answer. Bananas not included.

4 out of 5

Hi James, they're around £60 in the UK although you could probably find them cheaper online!
