Around £94.99.
Features:
15 watter, 8" speaker, headphone jack, 3-band EQ, "Dirty Sweet" overdrive. And look at it, it's very cool, very retro!
Construction:
It's one of the more interesting practise amps we've reviewed. It weighs 15lbs, the cream leatherette covering is well applied, although we can't imagine it staying that clean for all that long. Anything worth singling out? Well, the circular tartan grill cloth is a pretty nice feature.
Sound:
It doesn't just look vintage; it has a positively fab vintage tone. There's only one channel but a "Dirty Sweet" knob takes the sound from clean to overdriven. The user's manual is great and provides setting examples for different tones (much like the Dano FX manuals). Boost the volume on the clean channel and it stays clean, play with the distortion and you get a pleasing blues crunch - again, this definitely isn't a metal monster's amp!
Noise Pollution Level:
You certainly won't be breaking eardrums when you're playing clean, but crank it up, and you're gonna be getting complaints!
Verdict:
Excellent bluesy sound and sweet clean tones. Look the business too!
