Hi fellow pickers. I was listening to some older stuff I have, over the weekend and I began to think that some of you younger players may well be missing out on an excellent picker......If you saw any of "Smoky and the Bandit" movies you would at least of seen who I am talking about he was the trucker....his name is Jerry Reed...do yourself a favour and download a couple of mp's perhaps:

Amos Moses. Lord Mr Ford. The Claw, or any of his stuff really.

It is said that when Jerry was in his youth would be guitarist heard him play and decided against it...ha ha. He has also done stuff with several different artists i.e. Chet Atkins. and the like.

If any of you follow up on this I would be interested to hear what you think.
