Hi friends, its me again boring you to death. When we talk about 4th 5th etc we mean degrees in any key I.e The 4th of "C" = "F" and of "G" = "C" and so on.

There are always 3 basic chords in any key and these are known as
1st Tonic (mako mako is going to write on this subject in the future) 4th known as the Sub Dominant and the 5th known as the dominant. The 5th degree of the scale in each key is the 7th chord so using the key of "C" we count 5 along the line C D E F G and we get "G" G7 is the dominant 7th of the key of "C"

In each Key the basic chords are built on the 1st 4th and 5th degree of the scale as we have mentioned so using the Key of "C" we see that the 1st (Key) and the 4th9Sub Dominant) and the 5th (Dominant are as we can see

C D E F G A B 1st C 4th F and 5th (7th) G7

Now from each of these we can add their equaivalent Minor C=AM G=EM

F=DM So The "Basic chords in the key of "C" are C F G7 AM DM Em I stress "Basic" as of course you can use many more.
