What does everyone here suggest I get for a synthesizer? My friend tells me to get a POD, he has one and likes it, and his guitar teacher recommends it too. I just want to hear other opinions. Thanks.

I have a PODxt live and I find it really good. I was going to get a PODxt but the live version is easier to change while playing guitar, especially on stage. I would recomend any of the PODs though, you can get some great sound out of them.

POD's are really really good. If youre looking for a multi-effects footpedal, I'd reccomend the BOSS ME-50. I knew a guy back home in TN that owned a couple models of the POD, and i fell in love with it. I'm just still hooked on the whole foot-pedal accessability.
