But wow. It's like a PRS Gibson. haha. the inlays look like a Les Pal, and the the body and headstock, and even the pickups look just like a PRS. Don't believe me?

hahahaha. Well me either... But i just find it kind of funny. guitar developers seem to be getting lazy.

Oh you can find some real crazy looking guitars everywhere. Some are down right ugly and horrendous. I for one, am not a big fan of the Flying-V shaped guitars.

But yeah, creativity seems to be at a stand still at the moment.

You know, im not either. For one I find them impossible to balance when im sitting down. I mean, sure there are probably ways to do so, but it shouldnt be that hard!! They just look so weird to me. I hate the ones that have that really long headstock. like this one:

But i mean.. you just see the same stereotypical format... the strat body, the gibson body, the PRS body, the Ibanez/jackson body, heck, Yamaha was trying to copy BC rich for a while it *seemed* I'm just waiting for a really really SMOOTH looking guitar to come out that will rock my socks off.
Something Original. Like how the PRS was when it was discovered... and the Strat... I think the model is sadly overused by competitors, thats all.

Yeah, those are some crazy, whacked up guitars. And Im not really into those either.

The Fender Strat design has been used by many, many companies and is clearly overused. For other designs, Im fine with the standard Gibson and Epiphone guitars, so new guitar model designs won't make me jump on their bandwagon.... but you never know.

Dude, they should totally come out with the electric air guitar. ...wait.. That would be terrible... sitting in the car with your buddy when some Zep or Sabbath comes on the radio.. and he whips out his electric air-guitar... and sounds TERRIBLE but wont accept it...

Whoa, that post took my by surprise. We wouldnt want every redneck to have those, because then they would attempt to secede from America. Claiming that with their guitar talents, they will break our eardrums.

Honestly.. As much as I hate rednecks... having grown up in a small Tennessee town full of them... I would SERIOUSLY not want to burden the rest of the world with those people.

Hell, we already infested the world with McDonalds and Starbucks.....Not to mention the emo kids that work there haha.

When we get around to putting up the "Guitar Showcase" on this site, you should have a look at the one's lined up to go in!

My picture/avatar is a custom built swirled Ibanez a la Steve Vai (his website mentioned above), hope you all like it when its published better.

Also there are two other guitars lined up as well - check 'em out when they get here. Especially this guy's home made Red Strat. There's something about it, very nice! On looks, it rivals a real Fender Stratocaster!
