Electric blues phenomenon Mike Zito, will be releasing his latest soulful guitar-fueled romp, Pearl River, on September 22nd via Eclecto Groove Records.

With 4 four notable independent releases and his 2008 national debut, Today, already under his belt, Zito returns with his most satisfying and accomplished work to date.  Accompanied by Today producer David Z. and Delta Groove CEO Randy Chortkoff as co-producers, the St. Louis native revisits his musical roots and brings his expressive guitar-work back to the forefront. Joined by a handful of special guests, including Cyril Neville, Anders Osborne, Reese Wynans, Susan Cowill, and Lynwood Slim, and Jumpin’ Johnny Sansone, Pearl River showcases Zito’s ability to bridge gritty blues, Americana, and good ol' fashioned rock n' roll in what Blues Revue called an "impressively restrained balance between melody and musicianship." The album's first single, "One Step At A Time" will hit radio 09/29.
