Greetings all! I call myself Rufus, and I'm an ex-drummer of 35 years, now playing guitar. I prefer accoustic, but have a long way to go! I have a web shop, but without admins "OK", I wont mention it in this thread...(Admin, may I mention it please?). I hope to help, and to learn here. Hope that's ok. I'm located near Birmingham UK. Oh, yes, I'm a photographer.

Hello Rj! Did you ever know a band called "Orphan" ?? Glad to be here. Maybe I can be useful as well as learning. Hope so. I have some interesting contacts.

Well, for a start, how about two luthiers? One is a bit famous, specialises in repair and restoration. Worked for Ozzie, The Darkness, Giltrap, Fortunes etc etc etc. The other makes custom guitars. How about the manufacturer of boutique FX pedals? Good, friends. Seriously. PLUS, I aim to be the cheapest guitar string supplier in town.... I have a few so far, but need to improve!

Wow, sounds great!

I've had some chats with some guitarists in the US and such, got some emails of some semi-famous bands out there and over here, let alone other bands and guitarists in europe.

This site is doing pretty well on the grand scale of things, I hope we can some how help each other out!

Speak soon buddy, I'm just off to read the rest of your posts.

By the way, did you go the this years guitar show in London, was mentally good!
