Lachlan HorneAfter picking up the guitar at the age of fourteen Lachlan has performed in a numerous successful bands both in the UK and Australia. Though mainly self taught he has studied under distinguished guitarists such as Alan Limbrick, John Etheridge and Shaun Baxter when he attended The Guitar Institute in London.

He has played sessions for a variety of music and media projects and his music has been used for computer games, radio commercials and even as a theme on a rollercoaster. Having spent most of his career as a side man and session musician he stepped out of the shadows in 2004 by releasing his own instrumental rock album entitled The Time Has Come.  This proved to be a pivotal point in confirming Lachlan's status as a rising guitar virtuoso.

He has forged his own guitar playing style by drawing influence from many of the guitar greats most particularly Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert and Jeff Beck but it is his individual song writing skill that pushes all his talents to the front.

Lachlan currently spends most of his time writing, recording and producing is own material. His second album The Horne Supremacy, which also highlights his vocal talents, is available as a download only release.

When not writing and performing he also manages a hectic teaching schedule and has an enviable reputation as a leading exponent of contemporary rock guitar.
